| Certification Program for Parish Mission Leadership
The call to Mission.
We have the spirit and the vision.
We wish to respond.
We need to be led.
There is an education series to equip individuals, both clergy and lay persons, to be certified as "Parish Mission Leaders." This program presents participants with the skills and experience necessary to establish and/or strengthen the Local Outreach and Global Mission programs of their church.
This certification program has 4 parts:
- Servant Prep Seminar - February 21-23, 2008 at the Fort Worth Diocesan office
- PathLight Course - beginning March 2nd which meets at various churches in the Diocese
- Short-term Mission Trip - this summer 2008
- Mission Mobilizer Seminar - scheduled for September 2008
Attendance to these events is also open to others who are interested and/or involved in mission but not desiring certification.

PathLight Toward Global Awareness
PathLight is an exciting five-week interactive experience which will help you discover God's heart for the people of the world and how your gifts, passions, and abilities align with his purposes.
It explores questions such as:
- What does the Bible say about God's intention to reach all nations with his blessing?
- How did the kingdom of God advance from Jerusalem to where we are today?
- What is God doing in our generation, and how can believers in each parish, diocese and province be part of his plan?
- What does the diversity of cultures mean for the expansion of God's kingdom?
- How can the worldwide Christian church work together to increase effectiveness for the kingdom?
